What’s the difference between Performance GX Training and CrossFit?
Performance GX Training (Athletic Training and Boot Camp) programs take place in an outdoor setting and focus on training endurance, stamina, and cardiovascular capacity, utilizing HIIT, Kettlebells, and traditional sports conditioning. The focus of Performance GX is endurance and stamina. CrossFit, while similar, incorporates the use of gymnastics, Olympic lifting, powerlifting training functional fitness across modal domains. CrossFit classes at CrossFit Central are held indoors at our facilities in Austin. The focus of CrossFit is strength and power.
